What a lovely day. Not much going on and that was just fine with me. We started the day with having fellowship with our friends Tim and Kim Moore. Tim is the Pastor of the local First Baptist Church in Bandon. He has visited our home a few times and we were happy to see him in his own hometown. After our morning together we then headed out to visit one of the few working Lighthouses, Cape Blanco Lighthouse, but when we arrived they only had tours on every day except for Mondays. What a bust. The Lighthouse in the picture is "our" Lighthouse, Coquille River Lighthouse.
We ended up cruisin' through town just enjoying the shops and the beach. We found a shop where they make candies and chocolates called Cranberry Sweets & More. This place was visited and a TV show was done by Rachel Ray, so I consider this to be part of my goal to find places from the show "Best Thing I Ever Ate". My quest continues.
We ended our day with our friends Tim & Kim eating at Tony's Crab Shack. What a wonderful place to have visited!
