We left the comforts of our small beach community and headed for the big city, Portland. We traveled up the coast for the wonderful scenery and we ended up covering over 274 miles of the 339 miles of Oregon Coast. We made two stops along the way. The Sea lion caves, which were not too exciting with most of the sea lions out of the caves during the summer months. The second stop was to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We watched the assembly line of packaging cheese but more importantly we enjoyed the great taste of Tillamook Ice Cream.
It was a long travel day and we aren't doing anything for the night except resting. Tomorrow we see Portland.
