We started out this day with nothing planned but to get to our next destination, Bandon Oregon. We also knew that from here on out it was ALL new territory for us but this day also turned into a day Darren could enjoy (yesterday being more my day). He saw some deer on the side of a mountain, we went to Elk Meadow and saw Elk roaming the land (boy was I glad Granny brought her binoculars), we traveled on Redwood Hwy on many scenic routes and traveled all along the coastal area in Northern California and Southern Oregon. This was a day he could enjoy. (Linda and I enjoyed it too)
Bandon Oregon was recommended to us by our friend, who lives here, Tim Moore. It also was suggested by our friend Inga. So we thought we would see what was going on in this little coastal town. When we arrived we found out that Bandon is fast becoming "THE" Southern Oregon Coastal destination. So this will be our home for the next few days. Our hotel, Bandon Inn, overlooks the bay and ocean. It's peaceful and serene.
I think I like this place. I think I'll visit my first Lighthouse tomorrow.
