The View

The view from the house where we are staying has a clear view of this mountain, I haven't researched which mountain this is yet but I'm sure someone out there will let me know. (It's Mt. Baker in Washington.

We had a lazy morning but then we made up for it later staying in Vancouver until late. Our first stop was to take the advice of our friends, Lance and Tracy Mouser, who told us there favorite place to eat was at Burgoo. We ate there and yes I took a picture of my food but thought maybe you guys didn't want to see another picture of my food. It was amazing, can I just say?

After lunch we took the Mouser's advice again and took in the beautiful scenery at Jericho Beach of the Vancouver skyline. I think we could have sat there all day and watched the windsurfers and sailboaters and stand up paddleboarders. We watched people crabbing, fishing, picnicing, playing volleyball and sunbathing. There was so much going on but it seemed so relaxed and surreal.

We are planning another trip tomorrow to downtown Vancouver to see another side of this wonderful place. I'm just taking it all in.
